Use an Embellishment on a Card

It's almost Valentine's Day, and what better time is there to make a handmade card to give to that special someone?
A good way to start is to pick out an embellishment to be your focal point... like this cute little cupid bear. Then, choose coordinating papers that you can use to create borders, or shapes that will go along with it.
Have fun with it... whoever you give your card to is going to love it because it came from you!

Operation Write Home
Let me tell you, speaking from experience... there is NOTHING better than to receive a letter or card from a deployed loved one!!! It makes your entire day, week... sometimes even month.Operation Write Home is an organization that supports our nation's armed forces by sending blank homemade greeting cards to our heroes, for them to write home on, as well as cards of gratitude to encourage them.
If you are a cardmaker, scrapbooker, rubber stamper, or just plain crafty, join us in creating cards and donating to this great cause.
Any quantity of cards is greatly appreciated, and you are encouraged to take your time and do your best work... after all, America's finest deserve to receive the finest! Use your best cardstock and do your best stamping. One VERY IMPORTANT thing to remember is NO GLITTER! Also, be sure to not overdo the dimension... they say to think "shirt button" thickness instead of "vintage button" depth. Also, A2 size cards (4.25 x 5.5) are strongly preferred. Envelopes aren't absolutely required, BUT if you can provide envies and tuck the cards and sort them by categories as you pack your box, it helps their shippers a lot.
To get additional information, visit the Operation Write Home website.
Now get to making those amazing cards, and send them to be used by our amazing troops!

Greeting cards are in!!!

For the past couple of Arts and Crafts Shows we have been making Handmade Greeting Cards and have received a lot of positive feedback on them. We have been mainly offering them for the holiday shoppers and solely at the shows. More than a few times we have had requests to carry them full-time on the website. So, in response to our customers, we have added them to the website as a permanent line of our products. Our short term goal is to design cards for the immediate holidays, with more to follow in the near future.

Adorable Little Purses
So in case you haven't been able to tell, we have been REALLY busy around here, doing events and making new products for you! So, needless to say I have not had much of a chance to browse around my favorite blogs. Since there are so many great posts out there that I haven't read yet, it didn't take me long to come across this great one over at Little Birdie Secrets! Aren't these little purses absolutely adorable??? I love them!
